Senator Daines on January 6th Anniversary

January 6, 2022

“Senator Daines believes January 6th was a sad day for our country, and he strongly condemns the violence that occurred. The Senator is thankful for the bravery of the law enforcement officers who defended our Capitol, and he believes those who took part in the violence, especially those who assaulted law enforcement, should be held accountable. He believes the judicial process should play out and that all Constitutional rights be afforded to those charged with crimes. The Senator believes we should move forward and that its disappointing Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats have chosen to continue to politicize this day to further divide our country. He thinks we should be focused on fixing Biden’s failures like the inflation crisis, the southern border crisis and the supply chain crisis the President and the Democrats have created.”
