MTGOP resolution condemning far-left out-of-state billionaires and dark money in Montana Republican primaries

HELENA, Mont. – The Montana Republican Party Executive Board has officially passed a resolution condemning the massive influx of far-left, out-of-state money flooding into Montana’s Republican primary races.

According to public records, dark money networks tied to Democratic billionaires — including George Soros’ Sixteen Thirty Fund — are funneling millions of dollars through organizations like Western Futures Fund, Way Back PAC, and the deceptively named Conservatives4MT.

Conservatives4MT alone has spent over $620,000 in just one recent period on independent expenditures supporting dozens of candidates in Republican primaries.

MTGOP Passes Resolution Condemning Massive Spending by Far-Left Out-of-State Billionaires

The resolution specifically calls out this coordinated effort to undermine the integrity of the Montana Republican primary process and betray Republican voters.

Key Points from the Resolution:

  • Far-left out-of-state billionaires are using dark money networks to influence Republican primaries.
  • Conservatives4MT is the main vehicle being used to launder this money into our races.
  • The resolution demands that candidates benefiting from this spending publicly disavow it and call for it to stop.
  • It calls on all Montana Republicans to reject these tactics and defend the integrity of our party’s nomination process.

This latest resolution builds on previous MTGOP actions rebuking candidates tied to the Fireweed network and progressive dark money.

The message from the Montana Republican Party is clear: We will not allow out-of-state billionaires and dark money groups to pick our candidates or hijack our primaries.

Gallatin County Republicans stand fully behind this resolution. We believe Montana voters deserve honest, transparent elections — not ones bought and paid for by out-of-state special interests.

Vote Republican on June 2 and support candidates who are loyal to Montana values — not to far-left donors trying to buy influence in our party.

Vote for the True Republicans:
Caleb Hinkle (SD 34), Jed Hinkle (HD 67), Randy Chamberlin (HD 68), and Trevor Walter (HD 69)
