MTGOP Honor Roll 2026 – Gallatin candidates Caleb Hinkle, Jed Hinkle, Randy Chamberlin, Trevor Walter

The Montana Republican Party Executive Committee has officially released its “Honor Roll” of candidates who demonstrated strong support for the Montana Republican Platform in the 2026 Primary Election.

The resolution recognizes the work of the Conservative Governance Committee (CGC), which was created to screen self-declared Republican candidates. The CGC sent detailed questionnaires based on the Party Platform to 169 candidates. Of those, 124 returned the questionnaire. The CGC reviewed every response — and legislative records for incumbents — to identify candidates who truly align with Republican principles.

The CGC identified Honor Roll Candidates in every Republican contested legislative race.

Gallatin County Republicans’ Endorsed Candidates Make the Honor Roll

The Gallatin County Republican Central Committee is proud to note that all four of our officially endorsed candidates earned a place on the MTGOP Honor Roll:

  • Senate District 34 – Caleb Hinkle (Belgrade, Gallatin County)
  • House District 67 – Jedediah Hinkle (Belgrade, Gallatin County)
  • House District 68 – Randy Chamberlin (Bozeman, Gallatin County)
  • House District 69 – Trevor Walter (Sheridan, Gallatin/Jefferson/Madison Counties)

These four candidates have proven their fidelity to limited government, lower taxes, fiscal responsibility, individual freedom, and traditional Montana values.

The resolution reaffirms the Party’s commitment to upholding the Republican Platform and encourages all Republican Central Committees and voters statewide to recognize these Honor Roll Candidates.

The Gallatin County Republican Central Committee fully supports this resolution. We urge every conservative in the Gallatin Valley to support these principled candidates on June 2, 2026.

Absentee ballots will be mailed May 8. Visit our updated 2026 Voter Slate Card on the website for full details.
